Terms of Service
Effective: 23 May 2026 · Governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
1. Who we are
Ayojon ("we", "us") is operated by Ayojon Ltd., a company registered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We operate an online marketplace connecting event service customers ("Customers") with event service providers ("Vendors").
2. Accounts
You must be 18 or older to register. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, attempt to evade platform safeguards, or engage in fraudulent behavior.
3. On-platform deals
All inquiries, quotes, bookings, and payments must occur on Ayojon. Customers and Vendors agree not to share off-platform contact information or take transactions outside the platform. Off-platform deals are not covered by buyer protection and may result in account suspension.
4. Bookings and escrow
When a Customer pays a deposit, the funds are held by Ayojon in escrow. They are released to the Vendor only after the Customer confirms delivery or 72 hours after the event date if there is no dispute. Refunds follow the cancellation policy displayed at booking time.
5. Commission and payouts
Vendors pay a commission on completed bookings as set out on our Pricing page. Customers do not pay platform fees. Applicable BD VAT and AIT (TDS) are deducted at source where required by NBR rules.
6. Reviews
Reviews may only be submitted for completed bookings. Both Customer and Vendor may rate each other. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, false, or violate our content policy.
7. Disputes
If a Customer disputes delivery, we mediate based on the in-app chat, files exchanged, and milestone history. Our decision applies only to funds held in escrow. Either party may pursue further legal action under Bangladesh law.
8. Prohibited use
You may not: list illegal services, impersonate others, send unsolicited promotions, attempt to manipulate ratings, or use Ayojon to commit fraud. Violations may result in immediate suspension and reporting to law enforcement where applicable.
9. Limitation of liability
Ayojon facilitates transactions but is not a party to the contract between Customer and Vendor. Our liability is limited to the funds held in escrow for a given booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email and via in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect.
